BFG has an end to end metal processing plant that has been the foundation of the business and our proving ground. All key processes are completed in house from material preparation through to fabrication and powder coating. We produce a variety of temporary and permanent displays.

In 2007 I introduced the late Lawrence Anthony (International conservationist, environmentalist, explorer and best selling author) to the Mayibuye Community, who were the successful recipients of 21 farms at Camperdown in KZN through the Land Restitution Programme.
We believed the land would make a magnificent game reserve and entered into a deal with the community – if they committed their land to conservation, we would bring opportunity through business. For the deal to work we knew that we had to create a new conservation model as the traditional approach was not capable of generating sufficient opportunity to the community and we needed a mechanism capable of creating sustainable opportunity on a large scale.
This is where the idea of BFG came to the fore. At a first glance, a retail solutions business seems an odd bedfellow to a game reserve, but when you go back to the deal, it makes perfect sense.
